Dean Callas

Managing Director, Investment Banking

Dean Callas is a seasoned finance executive with over a decade of investment banking and operating experience. He covers high-growth companies across software and FinTech.

Previously, Dean was Co-Founder and Managing Director at Pax Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank providing sellside M&A advisory services to high growth technology companies. Dean helped grow the advisory business at Pax significantly and was the lead banker on Inspyrus' sale to MIneralTree / Great Hill Partners, Earth Class Mail's sale to LegalZoom, HomeCEU's sale to Colibri Group / Gridiron Capital and Pinpoint Software's sale to ADC / Prairie Capital.

Prior to founding Pax, Dean worked in Wells Fargo Securities' Technology investment banking group where he advised public and private technology companies on more than $10 billion of IPO, M&A, and capital market transactions, including OneStream's majority sale to KKR and American Megatrends' strategic investment from HGGC.

Prior to Wells Fargo Securities, Dean was the CFO and COO of Canvs AI, a SaaS-based emotion measurement platform used by the world's largest media and entertainment brands. Dean started his investment banking career in the M&A group of Arbor Advisors, where he advised founders of software companies on the sale of their businesses.

Dean has a BA degree in Economics from Union College. In his spare time, Dean enjoys making hand-made pasta recipes with his wife and daughter.
