Gen Takahashi

Vice President, Investment Banking

Gen has over six years of investment banking experience specializing in M&A and capital-raising advisory. During his time at CCM he has been a key member of the coverage efforts for Mobility, Energy Transition and Sustainable Industries. Prior to Cohen & Company Capital Markets, Gen was an Associate at Guggenheim Securities where he worked with a variety of clients including Specialty Finance and Transportation Leasing. Gen also has experience as an instructor at Training The Street, the leading financial training firm for investment banking, consulting and corporate clients. Prior to his finance career, Gen was a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps and a Special Agent covering Counterintelligence in the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Gen holds an MBA from Cornell University and an LL.B from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.
