Richard E. Wright

Managing Director, Head of Cross Asset Solutions

Richard E. Wright brings 30 plus years of fixed income experience across numerous product categories with an emphasis on leveraged credit solutions. Prior to joining Cohen & Co., he was at RBC focusing on middle market accounts and special situations. After the Global Financial Crisis in 2008, Richard was a Managing Director at Jefferies & Co. for seven plus years in the Leveraged Credit Group, focusing on leveraged finance debt placement and structuring, special situations, and distressed debt. Mr. Wright was previously at Bear Stearns & Co for 13 years as a Senior Managing Director, primarily supporting the Distressed Fixed Income-Proprietary ($1B AUM) investment team.

Richard is a graduate of Syracuse University with a B.S. in Business Administration, dual major in Finance and Marketing.
